Cancer care coordination · Afghanistan to Türkiye

You don't have to face this journey alone.

When a family receives a cancer diagnosis, the questions arrive all at once. We connect patients from Afghanistan with licensed oncology teams in Türkiye, and stay beside the family in Dari from the first report to follow-up at home.

Where should treatment happen, what will it involve, and what will it cost? Your family deserves clear answers to these questions — in writing, before anyone gets on a plane.

Oncology at our partner hospitals

Cancer care pathways

We work with hospitals licensed by the Turkish Ministry of Health that have dedicated oncology departments. Every treatment decision is made by the hospital's physicians after they review your reports.

We only coordinate evidence-based treatments offered by licensed hospitals. We do not arrange unproven or experimental therapies.

  1. 01

    Diagnosis and staging

PET-CT, MRI, biopsy and pathology review to confirm the diagnosis and the stage of the disease.

  2. 02

    Second opinion

Your existing reports and scans reviewed by an oncology team, often discussed at a multidisciplinary tumour board.

  3. 03

    Surgical oncology

Operations to remove tumours, planned together with medical and radiation oncologists.

  4. 04

    Chemotherapy and targeted therapy

Drug treatments planned and given by medical oncologists, including immunotherapy where indicated.

  5. 05

    Radiotherapy

Radiation treatment planned by radiation oncologists, including stereotactic techniques where appropriate.

  6. 06

    Follow-up after treatment

Check-up appointments and scans after treatment, coordinated with your doctor at home.

How it works

Six steps, one team beside you

  1. 01

    Send your reports

Share pathology reports, scans and doctors' letters on WhatsApp. Photos taken with a phone are enough to begin.

  2. 02

    Medical review

We translate your file and send it to the oncology teams of our partner hospitals for review.

  3. 03

    Written plan and cost estimate

You receive the hospital's proposed treatment plan, the expected length of stay and a written cost estimate. Nothing is committed until you decide.

  4. 04

    Visa and travel

We provide the hospital's invitation letter and help you prepare the documents for a medical visa application, flights and accommodation.

  5. 05

    Treatment in Türkiye

Airport pickup, accommodation near the hospital and a Dari-speaking interpreter at every appointment.

  6. 06

    Back home

Your reports come home with you in Dari and English. Our Afghan doctor in Istanbul stays in contact with you and the hospital for follow-up.

Our representative in Istanbul

A doctor from Afghanistan, beside you in Istanbul

Our representative is an Afghan physician based in Istanbul. Before you travel, families can speak in Dari by phone or WhatsApp, ask their questions and go through the reports before deciding anything.

When you arrive, the same familiar face is here: at the hospital, at appointments and in the days between. Someone who understands how hard it is to be far from home during treatment — and who stays in touch after you return.

  • Talks with families in Dari before travel
  • Meets you in Istanbul and accompanies hospital visits
  • Explains the hospital's plan in plain Dari
  • Stays in touch after you return home

Our representative does not replace your treating physician; medical decisions remain with the hospital's doctors.

Questions

Questions families ask

How much does treatment cost?

It depends on the diagnosis, the stage and the treatment plan, so we cannot quote a price without reports. Once the hospital has reviewed your file, you receive a written cost estimate before making any decision.

Do I need to send reports first?

Yes. The hospital's oncologists need your reports and scans to propose a plan. Phone photos are enough to begin; we will tell you if anything else is needed.

Can a family member come with me?

Yes. A family member can travel with you as a companion. We arrange accommodation for the patient and companion near the hospital.

How long will I stay in Türkiye?

It depends on the treatment. Some diagnostic visits take only a few days, while surgery or a course of chemotherapy or radiotherapy can take several weeks. The hospital's plan includes an estimated length of stay.

Can you guarantee a visa?

No. Visa decisions belong to the Turkish authorities. We provide the hospital's invitation letter and help you prepare a complete application.

Do you give medical advice?

No. Diagnosis and treatment decisions are made only by licensed physicians at our partner hospitals.

Is my information kept confidential?

Yes. Your reports are shared only with your consent, and only with the hospitals reviewing your case.

Start with a message

Send your reports. We will reply in Dari.

Write to us on WhatsApp with the patient's age, the diagnosis if it is known, and photos of the latest reports. A coordinator will reply and explain the next step.
